Bad Stuff
The non medicanal ingredients are bad news, when I apply this stuff, I get a burning sensation and in some areas the skin peels. I do not get this with the new roots pure dmso.
So I would have to say stay away, far away. neither dmso or aloe vera would do this.

Excellent Product
This is an excellent product. It helps. It”s very strong, so it is enough to apply a thin layer so it doesn’t burn my sensitive skin.

A Product with Amazing Helpful Attributes
Life Choice DMSO gel has been a great natural product to add to my list of helpful products. Upon learning several of the benefits of DMSO for a variety of reasons started using it for some muscle soreness which my work situation can subject me to, then a bad cut (which healed without a blatantly visible scar, no infection, and minimal inflammation). It also facilitated very quick healing of a pulled muscle which, as a former sports therapist I knew could take much more time to recover from than it did, and the Life Choice DMSO was used from the time of injury. I have recommended it to a few others who have faced dealing with osteoarthritis, a wrist fracture (which healed up nicely and reduced the inflammation which had accumulated before my acquaintance told me about the fracture). I appreciate that the company packages it in glass to keep it from absorbing plastic toxins.
The people I have introduced Life Choice DMSO are repeat buyers, I know this because they ask me to order it for them when they run out. :-)

DMSO

DMSO has many uses, but it is known mostly as a natural pain killer and transporter. First synthesized in 1866, DMSO is a sulfur-containing organic compound that is derived from MSM, and can be used externally. DMSO can aid injuries such as sprained ankles, sore muscles and joints, and even fractures. The process starts when DMSO enters the bloodstream by osmosis through capillary walls. Then, DMSO is distributed throughout the circulatory system.

DMSO has also been found to be a great product for Reflex Sympathetic dystrophy (RSD). A 2001 clinical study conducted in the Netherlands compared DMSO with NAC (acetyl-l-cysteine) for the treatment of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). The study was randomized, double-dummy controlled, and double-blind. For 17 weeks, 146 patients received treatment, with the option to continue or switch medication up to one year after beginning treatment. The study found that DMSO 50% showed more overall improvement, especially for patients with lower extremity CRPS and warm CRPS I.

DMSO also promotes immune system activity and can help in bodily detoxification. Historically, DMSO has also helped conditions such as neurological damage, arthritis, back problems, keloids, acne, burns, musculoskeletal problems, sinusitis, headaches, skin ulcers, herpes, and cataracts.

Topical application has been associated with redness and inflammation of skin, and a garlic-like taste and odor on the breath have been reported.

Recommended Use: Helps to reduce pain associated with Reflex Sympathetic dystrophy (RSD). Used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve minor burns including sunburn. Assists healing of minor wounds such as cuts and burns, and minor skin irritations.

Important Points To Know About DMSO:

- DMSO is a very temperature sensitive product.
- When using DMSO, always make sure to have clean hands and skin. DMSO is a powerful pain reliever and transporter. If you have dirt or anything else on your hands and /or skin, DMSO will take it down to your deep tissue, as far as to the seventh layer into the dermis, and it can cause irritation or discomfort.
- If using DMSO after a shower, it is recommended to wait 30 minutes to an hour, as the pores in the body are wide open and too much DMSO can be absorbed by the body, causing irritation or discomfort. Also, do not cover areas where DMSO is applied; it should be allowed to air dry.
- When starting a DMSO regimen, we recommend starting with a small amount and gradually increasing the dosage, as the product is very strong. If the DMSO is still too strong, we recommend mixing it with other topical products at a 50:50 ratio to reduce the product strength; be sure to only use natural products such as real organic aloe, or any cream that contains no harsh chemicals, preservatives and questionable ingredients.
- DMSO has a strong sulphur and garlic odour. When applied, you may experience a garlic taste in your mouth. This is a normal occurrence.
- DMSO is a very powerful product, that can cause redness and burning sensation. This is a normal occurrence.
- DMSO products are packaged in glass containers, which eliminates all possibilities of chemical leeching.

JOINT HEALTH

Your cartilage acts as a living shock absorber that cushions and protects your bones from damage during the daily stresses of living, working, and playing. But, unfortunately due to age or even injury, the human body is sometimes unable to regenerate damaged soft tissue fast enough to keep your cartilage, ligaments, and tendons supple and flexible.

The result can be pain and swelling. The pain and swelling we know as arthritis occurs when these supporting tissues degenerate, allowing bone to rub against bone, which as anyone who has osteoarthritis will tell you, causes pain.

Muscles and joints can become injured whenever the body is in motion. It often occurs when doing strenuous or repetitive activities, like sports or working on an assembly line. Sprains refer to damage to a tendon or ligament. Tendons hold bone and muscle together. Ligaments hold bones together. Sprains cause sharp pain and rapid swelling of the area. Strains refer to overworking a muscle. It causes muscle cramps, localized pain during movement, swelling and loss of mobility. Another joint injury is bursitis, a swelling of the fluid-filled sac inside the joint. It usually causes localized pain on movement of the joint and swelling.
