Working Well For My Wife's Illness

My wife's Naturipatic Doctor has prescribed MCP for her unhealthy cell growth, to prevent spreading. She tried different brands, one more expensive than other, until we found the AOR brand at Natural Nutrition.

It is the best we tried (yet): it blends easy and disolves well, and the taste is not awful (as others) even when blended with just water. There are no adverse symptoms other than a (somewhat) lower heart rate. AOR, excellent work in developing this product and continuing the research to prove it as a viable supplement in the fight against her health concern. Keep up the good work!

Very helpful

I have been using this product for years first to help with a prostate problem for which I had brachytherapy. I was then diagnosed with a rare blood disorder for which I received treatment. All is well in both cases and the MCP has certainly been a help for me. I look forward to having it with my orange juice every morning.

My naturalpathic Dr recommended this for me I had breast cancer 10 yrs ago MCP helps to prevent cancer from returning.I add 2 scoops in my morning protein smoothie. The pectin does not mix well so you need to use a blender and scrap the sides well so you get all the goodness from the MCP. I think everyone who has had cancer should be using this.

What is MCP (Modified Citrus Pectin)?

MCP is an unique extract of citrus peel which is rich in certain specialized complex carbohydrate molecules. The specific molecules used can be taken from any citrus pectin, provided they are the right size (molecular weight must be less than 10 kiloDaltons) and rich in the right sugar based branching chains (galactosides). Significant evidence exists that these molecules can prevent the binding of unhealthy cells to various other parts of the body. M

Current Research on MCP
More recently, researchers have discovered new anti-metastasis mechanisms of MCP, including blocking steps angiogenesis, which are stimulated by in galectin-3. And new studies showing that galectin-3 can block anoikis likewise suggest a possible protective effect of MCP.

Most excitingly of all, human phase I and Phase II studies of MCP have been completed in patients with unhealthy cells in the colon & rectum as well as the pancreas. While mostly designed to test the safety, rather than the effectiveness, of the supplement, the preliminary results were very suggestive of a true anti-metastatic power of MCP in humans.

Final certainty about MCP as a defense for healthy tissues against unhealthy cells colonization in humans will have to await the results of randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase III trials. But with the powerful results experienced in other organisms and the proven safety of this natural supplement many people facing difficult decisions about their health and future are choosing to embrace hope by taking a chance on MCP today.

Cautions:
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Diarrhea, stomach irritation, nausea, slowed heart rate and abnormal heart rhythm may occur. Discontinue use and contact your health care practitioner if you develop severe stomach pain, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, or for use beyond four weeks. Vomiting has been known to occur, in which case discontinue use and consult your health care practitioner.
