Not only do we use this medicinally, but I use it to put a few drops on a piece of flannel and toss into the dryer instead of using dryer sheets. Leaves my clothes smelling fresh (can't smell the tea tree oil) and static free. I also use it to put into my floor water for mopping and I love knowing it's disinfected my floors from all of our pets, and leaves the house smelling clean.

Tea Tree Oil
The best most magical oil available. Use on everything for everything. I use it on toenail fungus, cuts, cleaning etc. There are so many benefits of tea tree oil. Put in a spray bottle with water to freshen the bathroom and in the laundry with my unscented laundry detergent due to machines being used by numerous other tenants. Can't be without this oil.

So many uses for this oil
I use this Tea Tree Oil in my laundry. I started using it when we lived in an apartment building and shared laundry facilities. I use only unscented laundry products and this keeps everything smelling fresh. I also use it in a spray bottle with water and vinegar as a cleaner in the bathroom and for other surfaces as a disinfectant and to freshen our mattress while the sheets are in the laundry. We have used it with much success for athlete's foot too! There are so many uses and I find this brand of good quality and priced reasonably at National Nutrition! I really like the small bonus size to be able to use when traveling!

Tea tree oil is one of the strongest and most effective natural oils to support skin irritations when properly dulited and for its fresh scent.
Australian Aboriginals have been using Malaleuca alternifolia, aka Tea tree, for centuries. They used to brew the leaves and apply the pulp on a variety of ailments. When samples of Tea Tree were brought to England for study, its ability to ward off some fungi and bacteria and anti-inflammatory effects were confirmed. It is now well-known and commonly used to treat decrease acne and skin irritations, relieve dry scalp and freshen your home with its herbaceous scent.
It is important to note that Tea Tree oil is toxic when ingested. It can cause vomiting, diarrhea, severe rash, confusion and even coma. Be cautious or refrain from using Tea Tree topically on pets, as it is extremely toxic to them, even topically. A small number of patients also experience contact dermatitis when using Tea Tree oil topically. Using a diluted concentration may help to decrease the incidence of any skin reaction.
Tea Tree can be applied directly to an acne lesion, or skin irritations, but it must be properly diluted first. Be aware some drying will occur. Add 2 or 3 drops to shampoo before washing hair for dry scalp relief. For a foot soak, soak feet for 15 minutes each in a small tub of water mixed with 20-25 drops of Tea Tree oil.
Essential oils are for external use only and should be properly diulted before applying to your skin. Test a small patch of skin before use.
