Remember when you were a kid and you couldn’t get enough of everything and anything maple? Well, just because you’re an adult doesn’t mean you can’t re-live those days. In fact, with this healthy, nut inspired maple butter, you are going to have a hard time putting it down. Whether you dip your apples in it or spread it on a piece of toast, this butter is so delicious you won’t believe it’s dairy-free!

- Place all of your ingredients except your oil into a large bowl. Mix to combine.
- Spread your mixture onto a pre-lined baking sheet and bake for 40 minutes. Be sure to stir your mixture at least once during this time.

This sounds really good! I have made something similar and I know it's incredibly tasty, especially with sliced apples or on pancakes so I know this would be delicious too. A little goes a long way!
Hello Stephanie,
Yes, this is delicious and would go well with apples, bananas and pancakes or crepes. A little does go a long way since even though it's natural, maple syrup is rather sweet.
Enjoy!
This dairy-free maple butter looks delicious! I recently tried some sort of maple butter and could not stop putting it on everything! I cannot wait to try a dairy-free version, it makes such a good sweet treat to add onto toast or fruit or pancakes. I love when I can find homemade substitutes to things that I love because it is always nice to know exactly what ingredients are in the food you are eating and it is always more satisfying knowing you made it yourself!
Hello,
We're happy to hear you found this recipe so you can make your own maple butter! This dairy-free version is great for everybody. It's a nice spread to put on pancakes, waffles, toast or french toast.
Enjoy!
This recipe sounds absolutely delightful: I think that nutty flavors pair perfectly with maple syrup and the addition of sunflower oil + maple syrup make this spreadable & I bet even syrupy with proper balance. You have inspired me for my next round of pancakes!! I especially like that this recipe is just as practical as it sounds delicious...and that it happens to be relatively healthy too. Thank you for another great and clever recipe idea, NN!
