If you’re having a hard time finding shelled flaxseeds, don’t panic – you can do it yourself. Place your whole flax seeds into a Ziploc bag and place on a flat surface. Using something flat and heavy, such as book or the bottom of a saucepan, hit the seeds. You will notice the shells separating!

Hello,
We're glad you enjoyed this dessert recipe. It certainly is delicious and nutritious! A much better alternative than store bought pudding and because it is so easy to make, there's no reason not to! Great for a dessert or like you mentioned, making a batch ahead of time and having it whenever you'd like as a snack!
Enjoy!
I have head of banana icecream before and I am a fan. I have never heard of a more nutty/savory banana pudding and I think that I might even enjoy that even better. I regularly start my day with flaxmeal and I think that this is a wonderful way to use the gelling poperty of flax and get that nutrition punch in. And, of course the combination of banana and nutbutter is a classic delight. Thank you for another simple, innovative, and healthy recipe, NN I'm enjoying your recipe collection :)
