Tropical Mango-Madness Smoothie
Updated Jul. 29th, 2024
The only thing standing in your way between you and the tropics is five simple ingredients. With a boost of citrus and the sweetness of the mango and grapes, you’ll be whisked away to a body cleansing bliss. So what are you waiting for: blend, sip and repeat.
- Gluten Free
- Dairy Free
- Egg Free
- Sugar Free
Ingredients:
| 1 cup non-dairy milk | 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice | 6 ice cubes |
| 2 cups frozen mango chunks | 20 seedless grapes |
Directions
- Cut your lemon in half, and squeeze the juice from one half into your blender. This should roughly equal your 2 tablespoons needed – measure out if you’re unsure.
- Add in remaining ingredients and blend until creamy and smooth.
- Drink right away.
Make It This Way
For that extra creamy taste we recommend using coconut milk. Don’t have grapes, no problem! If you want the full-blown tropical effect, try using some fresh or frozen pineapple instead.
If drinking this smoothie as part of a well-balanced breakfast, pair with a handful of nuts or a snack-sized bar if you’re on the run. Add some unflavoured protein powder if you need that extra boost to help keep your feeling fuller, longer.
Try This
Turn this into a healthy and delicious sorbet/ice cream by making a batch (or doubling it, depending on how many people you want to serve) and freezing it overnight in a sealable container. Using an ice cream scoop, dish into a glass and top with some unsweetened coconut flakes – even toasted coconut flakes if you’re feeling up for it!

I love mangoes and often eat them while they are still in frozen chunks! This smoothie looks so delicious and refreshing and perfect for the warmer months! I wouldn't have thought to add grapes into a smoothie so this is genius! I usually just eat grapes plain and don't often buy them because I didn't know of many recipes to use them in so this is very clever! Thank you for sharing, this recipe looks delicious and healthy! :)
Hello,
Mangoes are DELICIOUS! Mango smoothies can easily transport you to a tropical location all while sitting in the comfort of your own home. Making your own smoothies is a great way to know what's in them and moderate sugar intake.
Have a healthy day!
My mum is a huge fan of the frozen grapes hack, as am I: it's a sweetness just as good as sugar! I love that this recipe uses grapes instead of a refined sweetener or concentrated juice (cough cough jamba!). The mango is so delightful with a good milk: makes it creamy and dreamy (your suggestion of coconut milk is making me hungry). I would personally leave out the lemon as I am not a fan of acidity but I am adding this recipe to my list: I have a nutribullet, so I have no excuses to enjoy this one once summer is in bloom!
