I knew that parsely was antibacterial but did not know that 1) it was a source of the nutrients vitamin C and K (though this makes a lot of sense to me; 2) it is traditionally garrgaled; 3) parsely is toxic in high concentrations since it contains volatile oils (eg apiole and myristicin) that are toxic in high dose; and 4) parsely should be used with caution in people with blood disorders, liver/kidney issues, or individuals taking MAO inhibitors...Thank you for teaching me several new things about parsley!!
