Want to Avoid NSAIDS? Try This

I am trying to eliminate all pharmaceutical products and found this product. I do not get migraines, so I cannot review it for that specifically. But, for a headache that you would reach for Tylenol or Advil etc, this is a great alternative.

Finally Something That Helps with Migraines

I have suffered from migraine headaches for over 30 years which are at times quite debilitating. Migraine is not a headache and anyone who suffers from this affliction will understand the importance of pain relief and the stress migraines can cause in your life.

Just a little background; I have been hospitalized due to migraine pain which has lasted several days and have had MRI's and all types of tests to rule out anything scary. I have tried many prescription medications that doctors and headache specialists have had to offer but these meds irritate my IBS - botox injections also worked but the high cost was a deterrent as I was unable to work and had no medical insurance at the time. In addition to the severe head and neck pain, migraines also make me quite dizzy, nauseous and totally uncoordinated to the point I've fallen several times and hurt myself quite badly twice. Migraines have also affected my life to the point of not being able to function at all some days and my memory and motor skills are also affected during a migraine attack. My migraine history shows that they are most often dictated by changes in pressure from weather systems and complicated further by anxiety and panic attacks plus IBS. Strong smells, light and noise further aggravate my migraines and are additional triggers along with stress. Prescription medications, although they relieve the pain I have to completely give up for at least 6 to 8 hours and go to sleep after taking them - they also leave me in a haze with what I refer to as a 'migraine hangover' the day after the migraine.

Migraid was first suggested to me by an online migraine support group as an alternative as others found it worked well for them. I purchased my first bottle locally and found that they helped to relieve the pain but they were over $1 each per pill so thought I might find a better price elsewhere. I have migraines quite frequently in the spring and fall when the barometric pressure changes quickly so I began searching online (due to the pandemic it wasn't easy to price match locally). I found National Nutrition had the best price in Canada, I quickly ordered a few bottles and they were delivered before I ran out of the first bottle.

I take one Migraid pill now whenever I feel the migraine headache starting on the left side of my head and at first I was skeptical of them working but the pain did not get progressively worse throughout the day as usual, in fact the first time I took one the pain was almost completely gone in 20 minutes! I have had days since where it did not work in the first 20 min so I took another Migraid pill along with an ibuprofen which seems to work for those really bad days. It works for several hours during a migraine, having to take another one in 6-8 hours. Migraid did not seem to remove the aura or dizziness associated with my migraines but helped reduce the pain enough that I can function and get through the day. I can work on the computer again now for several hours or draw in my art studio and focus on creative outlets that reduce stress. (Just a note: Migraid contains Feverfew, Skullcap, Butterbur and Magnesium - all of which are recommended for migraine sufferers and it seems they have the proportions correct!)

The good news is that it works for me for pain relief and that is a big plus for me... I'm not sure if others will find similar results but I've tried a LOT of different medications and so far Migraid is a great alternative to prescription medications plus I don't suffer from the 'migraine hangover' now and Migraid does not negatively affect my IBS either. I hope other migraine sufferers will find this review helpful - please give it a like if you do.

Surprising

I wasnt expecting much having tried several natural headache remedies in the past. I figured Id give this a try as my headaches have become more frequent and I didnt want to be taking too much prescription meds. I was pleasantly surprised to notice that the severity of the headaches was diminished as well as the duration.

too good to be true?

These lil pills have proven to take away the nagging headaches I get with pressure change. You do have to stay on top of when you took it last because you can feel them wear off! Much better than the alternatives to date. And worth a shot for any migraine sufferer!

Migraines, tried every recommendation drug!
