No, they don’t have plastic or use plastic applicators. All of their products are made with organic cotton and nothing else. The protective layers on their pads are made from biofilm derived from non-GMO, compostable cornstarch. This biofilm is also used in its wrappers.

Joni uses ethically sourced FSC-certified bamboo in its pads because bamboo is the most sustainable plant on earth. It is also naturally anti-bacterial; therefore, it doesn’t require pesticides and has zero bi-product waste and is softer than organic cotton.
