Supplement That Works!
I found a bottle of this product in my supplements drawer I forgot I had. I am experiencing a lot of bloating and trapped intestinal gas these days which is surely candida related. Even given that I've had them for a while, they are offering me much-needed relief! I will need to get my digestion sorted beyond using this product but the Oil of Oregano in it will help with that too.

Peppermint Oil Complex Works!
This product worked well to reduce bloating and gas. I would say even better than the standard (chemical) anti-gas solutions.

PEPPERMINT OIL COMPLEX WITH OREGANO OIL
Serious digestive help with enteric coated peppermint oil complex

Enteric coated peppermint oil has been shown to be quite helpful in the treatment of the irritable bowel syndrome in several double-blind clinical studies. It is estimated that approximately 15% of the population has complaints of IBS making IBS by far the most common gastrointestinal disorder.

One of the central findings in IBS is a hypercontractility (excessive contraction) of intestinal smooth muscle. Peppermint oil inhibits the hypercontractility of intestinal smooth muscle making it useful in cases of irritable bowel syndrome as well as intestinal colic. Peppermint oil also exerts significant effects against Candida albicans a common yeast implicated in many cases of IBS as well as promoting the excretion of various digestive factors.

Peppermint Oil Complex also contains beneficial caraway and oregano oils.

  • Enteric coating prevents heartburn in some people
  • Relaxes intestinal muscles
  • Promotes the elimination of excess gas
  • Is 100 times more effective than caprylic acid as a natural antifungal agent
  • Helps to speed up the elimination of systemic candida yeast
  • Inhibits the hyper contractility of intestinal smooth muscle, relieving the irritable bowel, esophageal spasm and intestinal colic

Enteric coated Peppermint Oil Complex combines oregano and caraway for a natural answer to serious digestive disorders. It is estimated that 15% of the adult population experience symptoms that peppermint oil has been shown to eliminate. Peppermint Oil Complex is ideal for two serious digestive concerns: irritable bowel syndrome and candidiasis.

Enteric coated peppermint oil has been shown to be quite helpful in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome in several double-blind clinical studies. Irritable bowel syn- drome (IBS) is a disorder of the large intestine characterized by some combination of: abdominal pain, altered bowel function, constipation or diarrhea, abdominal hypersecre- tion of colonic mucus, dyspeptic symptoms (flatulence, nausea, anorexia), and varying degrees of anxiety or depression. It is estimated that approximately 15% of the population has complaints of IBS making IBS by far the most common gastrointestinal disorder.

In double-blind studies, enteric coated peppermint oil (ECPO) has been shown to be effective in relieving all symp- toms of IBS in approximately 70-85% of cases within a two to four-week period. In the trial (J Pediatrics, 2001; 138: 125-8), 42 children between eight and ten years old with IBS were given ECPO or placebo for two weeks. Dosage was one capsule, three times daily for children 30-45 kg and two capsules three times daily for children over 45 kg. After two weeks, 76% of the ECPO group reported significant im- provements compared to only 19% of the placebo group.

One of the central findings in IBS is a hypercontractility (excessive contraction) of intestinal smooth muscle. Peppermint oil inhibits the hypercontractility of intestinal smooth muscle making it useful in cases of irritable bowel syndrome as well as intestinal colic. In addition to its effects directly on intestinal smooth muscle, peppermint oil also exerts significant effects against Candida albicans a common yeast implicated in many cases of IBS as well as promoting the excretion of various digestive factors.

USING PEPPERMINT OIL COMPLEX TO FIGHT CANDIDA YEAST
Candidiasis (candida yeast) is a systemic infection of the digestive system and peppermint oil can help with this problem. It is estimated that peppermint oil is 100 times more effective than caprylic acid as a natural antifungal agent. Under normal circumstances it can take up to 6 months to eliminate candidiasis. Peppermint oil can speed up this process considerably.

Although killing the yeast is important, there are also other considerations that need to be addressed. The health of the intestinal flora needs to be restored with a high quality probiotic. As the dying yeast releases toxins, elimination of toxins by the liver and liver protection is also important. Candida yeast also affects the sugar balance in the body, so be aware of the need for chromium, vanadium, zinc and manganese. Make sure to include a quality multivitamin along with extra vitamin C and vitamin E . This complete program should be combined with a low carbohydrate diet.

Natural Factors enteric coated Peppermint Oil Complex provides not only peppermint oil, but also caraway and oregano. Several of the clinical trials featured it in combina- tion with caraway oil a known carminative (a substance that promotes the elimination of intestinal gases) and digestant (a substance that promotes general digestion). Oregano oil is also emerging as a popular treatment of intestinal candidiasis. The volatile oil fractions of all three plants in this formula exert significant anti fungal and antiparasitic properties.

Peppermint Oil Complex is a natural, safe solution that can provide relief for perplexing digestive problems.

    Irritable Bowel Symdrome
Irritable bowel was at one time thought to be caused solely by emotions like stress and nervousness. While these emotions can play a role in the development of IBS as they do in many conditions, other factors such as diet, infection by harmful bacteria or parasites and food allergies play a larger role when someone develops this frustrating illness.

This common condition is the number one reason for a family physician to refer to a specialist. The reason for this is because irritable bowel symptoms mimic those of inflammatory bowel conditions like Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. IBS does not make visible lesions in the bowel. The causes of irritable bowel are an overgrowth of harmful microbes, poor diet, emotions and food sensitivities. The bowel reacts to these irritants with strong intestinal contractions.

Symptoms of IBS are nausea, spastic diarrhea, episodes of constipation, pain, bloating, belching and flatulence. The stool can be mixed with mucus. Stress and anxiety can trigger attacks.

Natural treatment of IBS involves: treating the underlying microbial imbalance in the intestines, ensuring adequate fibre intake, enhancing the health of the intestinal lining, and the elimination of potentially allergenic foods. Underlying microbial infection by parasites, candida, or harmful bacteria must be treated if a recovery from IBS is to be made successfully without constant recurrence. Stool testing for parasites, yeast and other microbes should be performed and appropriate herbal remedies can be administered. If you and your practitioner suspect parasites, then a combination of wormwood, cloves and green hull black walnut extracts can fight parasites in each of their life cycle stages. Acidophilus is crucial to restoring a healthy balance of friendly bacteria in the gut. You can use a combination of caprylic acid, bentonite, and psyllium along with acidophilus to fight candida.

The most important dietary enhancement for IBS is increasing dietary fibre. Do this by eating lots of vegetables, fruits and legumes. Use ground flax seed, psyllium and oat bran as daily fibre sources. Do not use wheat bran, which tends to be allergenic. Consume fermented products like yogurt, kefir, quark, buttermilk and natural cheeses to replenish the friendly bacteria that assist with nutrient digestion.

Do not use the following foods because they irritate the intestine; unfermented dairy products, wheat, animal fat, caffeine, carbonated drinks, chocolate, candy, processed food, additives, preservatives, citrus fruits, spices and sugar-free foods. Drink lots of filtered water to balance fluid losses due to diarrhea. To counteract stress do regular exercise and deep breathing exercises. Undergo counselling to deal with emotional triggers. Take time to enjoy your foods, chew well and eat in a comfortable environment. Use a hot pack over the abdomen to provide more blood to the digestive organs.
