What is Morning Rise and Shine?
It is a product that Rosemary Pierce put together. It's an alkalizer. It's one of those products that taste great, but it also has some aloe vera in it, which actually helps as an anti-inflammatory agent to limit the inflammation that leads to tissue acidity. Manganese
Manganese is a trace mineral , which means that it is only needed in very small amounts by the body. It is used to speed up chemical reactions in the body that involve energy production, fat metabolism and protein metabolism. Because it breaks down fats and proteins, it is useful for the treatment of diabetes, when fat and protein is often called upon as an energy source for the cells.
It is also part of the synthesis of bone, cartilage and joint fluid. Manganese helps to calm the nervous system, in conjunction with the vitamins of the B complex. Manganese supports red blood cells by being a component of their antioxidant defences, through the enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD). Manganese is used by natural health practitioners for a variety of conditions including epilepsy, diabetes, iron-deficiency anemia, and osteoporosis.
Magnesium
Without Magnesium the transmission of nerve and muscle impulses is compromised. This can lead to nervous system disorders, muscle weakness or contraction, cramps and spasms. As an example, magnesium has been shown to decrease menstrual pain by relaxing the uterine muscles. In pregnancy, magnesium acts as a uterine relaxant and can prevent premature labour.
Given its vital role in nerve and muscle function, magnesium is also an especially important mineral for heart health. Deficiency can cause abnormal heart rhythms, coronary spasms and calcification of the arteries. Studies have also shown that women, in particular, low in magnesium are at a higher risk of developing hypertension.

Energy expenditure is funnelled towards detoxification of these substances instead of growth, cell replication and metabolism.
The type of food that you eat also affects energy by providing short, intense bursts of fuel for the cells or sustained, steady fuel release. Simple sugars or carbohydrates are quickly absorbed by the body and go into the bloodstream for immediate use for cells. This accounts for the energy burst you feel after eating a sugary snack. It also accounts for the fatigue that comes on a few minutes after the sugar is used up. These fluctuations in blood sugar are hard on the body because it stresses the system. Hormones are rapidly used up when sugar saturates the bloodstream but when it comes time to replenish the supply the body has low amounts of energy to use for this purpose.
