Definitely Works!
Had cancer 5 years ago and while I didn’t lose hair, it was definitely thinner and more brittle.tried the shampoos and multi vitamins with biotin in trace amounts but saw no changes. Tried these caps, one , once a day and by the end of the first month saw thicker hair. On the second bottle now and I have thicker hair, that doesn’t come out in the brush or in the comb. And frankly it’s growing again so much I get a bit shaggy and needing a haircut after 3 months lol.

It doesn’t regrow what you may have lost… but damn if it does thicken and rejuvenate what you do have! Totally recommend!

Biotin Works
I was taking Enerex Silica for a few years. It helped but I was not entirely satisfied with the results. Three months ago added Biotin 5000 mcg every other day and 1000 mcg on alternate days. It took a while but this combination made a big difference for me.

A lot of expensive hair loss and strengthening products contain mostly Biotin.

Definitely Works
Been taking this since about 6 months after cancer recovery. My hair didn’t fall out during chemo and radiation but it did definitely pull out brushing and combing. I take other supplements to help me return to life but nothing seemed to make any difference to the quality of my hair… weird way to put it but my hair seemed thinner and almost brittle.

After the first bottle of Biotin, I saw thicker hair , quite a bit more robust with a lot less pull out from normal brushing and combing. I am half way thru the third bottle now and wholeheartedly recommend this supp for hair repair and retention. It certainly doesn’t grow hair again, but what hair I have is as robust and rooted as when I was 20! This is for real …. One pill a day with my coffee and I can’t remember the last time I saw hair in my comb or brush. Try this, you won’t be sorry!

Love Now Foods and Biotin
I started noticing thinning out hair a bit overall in my early 40s and researched finding that biotin is a key component internally to building hair health. Biotin shampoos claim much but we need internal assistance first. It has reversed the thinning (make sure you also take a B complex as well and if a male, saw palmetto which reverses the changing male hormone in the prostate to the form that causes male hair loss and deteriorating prostate, cell overgrowth, etc)
I take 3 a day and my hair in my mid 50s is long and strong now with no decline in follicle production.

Biton For beautiful Hair, Skin & Nails
Biotin is a water-soluble vitamin necessary for normal growth and body function. Biotin is a key regulatory element in gluconeogenesis, fatty acid synthesis, and in the metabolism of some amino
acids. Alongside its role in energy production, Biotin enhances the synthesis of certain proteins. In addition, Biotin promotes normal immunity and plays a critical role in skin health.

Biotin will keep you looking as good as you feel by encouraging healthy hair growth and radiant skin. Biotin is a water soluble, sulphur-containing member of the B complex. Biotin is most well known for its promotion of healthy hair and skin. Cradle cap in infants and male pattern baldness may be related to low levels of biotin. Biotin also helps the functioning of the sweat glands, bone marrow and nerve tissue.

It is a cofactor for chemical reactions that occur in the cell's engine, the mitochondria. Therefore biotin is an important vitamin in the production of fatty acids and the metabolism of food substances and B vitamins.

All of the B vitamins work together and are best used by the body in a B complex, which is why many B complex supplements include a small dose of biotin in them. If additional supplementation of biotin is needed it should be taken in addition to a good B complex. Most B vitamins are water-soluble and any extra from large doses is flushed out of the body easily, therefore it's best to take lower dosages of the B complex several times a day than one larger dose. Spray or sublingual forms of B vitamins are easily absorbed, as are capsules - if your digestion is healthy, then the tablet form is usually suitable for most people.

The absorption of biotin is inhibited by the consumption of raw egg whites because the egg protein avidin binds to biotin in the intestine. Rancid fats or oils, antibiotics, sulfa drugs, estrogen, alcohol, food processing and saccharin also inhibit the use of biotin in the body.

Hair Loss
We naturally lose 50 to 100 hairs everyday. New strands should replace them. When the hair is not replaced, thinning, and eventually balding, results. The most common type of hair loss is male pattern baldness. It is thought that the follicles are programmed to stop hair production when there are high levels of male hormones

Specifically, it is the hormone dehydrotestosterone (DHT) that can shut the hair follicles off. This is a highly active from of testosterone that some men make more of than others. In other cases, some men have more receptor sites for this hormone on their scalp, which increases the absorption of this hormone by the cells, and thus hair loss as well. The herb saw palmetto has been proven to slow the conversion of regular testosterone into DHT. While not a miracle, clinical evidence shows that this herb has made a difference for some. Dehydrotestosterone has also been linked to the development of prostate cell growths

Women can experience a similar type of hair loss due to hormone changes (i.e.: postpartum and at menopause) but it is usually not as extensive.

There are many factors, other than hormones, that contribute to hair loss. They include heredity, aging, poor circulation, acute illness, malnutrition, radiation exposure, skin disease, high fever, iron deficiency, diabetes, hypothyroidism, stress, fungal infection and chemical hair dyes.
