Blissful Overnight Orange Chocolate Pudding
You’re truly going to love this pudding. Seeing as this dessert contains the natural love molecule, cocoa and cacao you’re in for a real treat filled with not only good tastes, but phenethylamine. This creamy pudding sets perfectly in the fridge overnight, making it the perfect addition to your date night!
Serves 2
- Gluten Free - Dairy Free - Egg Free - Sugar Free - Vegetarian
Ingredients:
- ⅔ cup fresh orange juice
- ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 slices fresh orange, optional
- ⅓ cup coconut palm sugar
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- dark chocolate shavings, optional
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup goat milk yogurt
Directions:
- Combine your first four ingredients into a saucepan and bring to a light boil over medium-heat. Whisking constantly to avoid burning. Your mixture will be ready when the sugar is dissolved. Set aside to cool.
- Using a blender, pulse your chia seeds and yogurt together until well combined and the seeds are broken down.
- Mix both mixtures together, and spoon into a serving dishes. Place in the fridge overnight to set – at least 12 hours.
- Garnish with shaved chocolate and orange slices before serving!
Make It This Way
Goat's dairy is more easily digested than cow's dairy and is a hypoallergenic choice. However, if you prefer, you can substitute the goat's yogurt in this recipe for a dairy-free yogurt of your choice.
