White Oak Bark (Quercus Alba)
By helping heal the gastrointestinal system, this herb can assist in increasing absorption rates of nutrients improving metabolism. This herb contains many minerals such as Copper, Chromium, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Molybdenum, Niacin and Potassium.
Comfrey Root (Symphytum Officinale)
Dr. James Duke reports that comfrey contains many vitamins including substantial levels of the B vitamins, thiamine, riboflavin, pantothenic acid and vitamin B12. Vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin E are also found in this herb along with allantoin which has known cell proliferate properties.
Marshmallow Root (Althea Officinalis)
Although marshmallow shares its name with marshmallow candy they are obviously not the same. It has been used traditionally to soothe inflamed mucous membranes and consequently, to treat coughs and sore throats.
