Neurapas Balance

In today's pressure-filled society, many people experience Burnout syndrome. NEURAPAS balance alleviates the effects of Burnout Syndrome by providing clinically proven relief of:

  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Sleep disturbances

What is Burnout Syndrome?
Burnout Syndrome describes a state of emotional exhaustion, a reduced ability to perform due to a missing connection between expectation and reality. In other words, over-taxation from ongoing stress and performance pressure leads to emotional exhaustion. When strength reserves run out, exhaustion sets in.

What causes Burnout Syndrome?
The short periods of stress that most people experience do not trigger feelings of being burned out. Rather, the permanent, overwhelming burdens that crush body and soul are the cause.

Other situations leading to Burnout Syndrome are heavy workloads in poor work environments; high performance expectations; too little support from supervisors; and night, weekend and shift-work. Consequently, family, friends, and free-time all lose out.

The most frequent reasons for Burnout Syndrome are high performance pressure; inadequate support that leads to over-taxation and stress; long, chronic periods of stress without chance for recovery; and new and constantly changing work demands.

Which symptoms are typical during Burnout Syndrome?

  • Despondency
  • Weakness
  • Restlessness
  • Exhaustion
  • Fatigue
  • Lack of energy
  • Lack of motivation
  • Headache
  • Muscle tension
  • Concentration disturbances
  • Lack of sleep
  • Increased susceptibility to colds and infections

Help from Nature

St. John's Wort
St. John's Wort is one of the oldest and most favoured medicinal herbs. This healing plant is mentioned in writings from antiquity as well as in healing recipes and herb books from the Middle Ages. The plant received its name because its yellow flowers begin to flower around the time of John the Baptist's Festival (June 24).

St. John's Wort has been employed for many years. It strengthens the nervous system, has a balancing function, and is traditionally used to treat emotional and psychological burdens. The tips with shoots are collected shortly before flowering,
dried, and then used as medicine.

Valerian
Valerian has a long history of use in medicine. Its diverse applications made it a cure-all remedy during the Middle Ages. It has been primarily employed for calming purposes since the middle of the 18th century. Valerian is attributed with calming and sleep-promoting effects. The roots of this healing plant have properties that soothe and calm, and thus decrease inner unrest, nervousness, and trouble with falling asleep.

This healing plant is also known to alleviate cramps. Valerian reduces the time required to fall asleep, enhances sleep quality, and improves one's general mental state.

Passionflower
Passionflower is indigenous to south-eastern North America, Central America, Brazil, Argentina, and on various South Pacific Islands. Natives in the Brazilian rainforest traditionally used this plant as a heart and calming remedy. The beautiful flower received its name from a European missionary. The wreath-like threads in the flower were compared to the crown of thorns, a reminder of Christ's suffering on the cross (Latin: Passio = Suffering, flos = Flower). Passionflower is mildly calming and regulative and is used especially for states of restlessness and increased irritability. It also reduces cramps, thereby releasing inner tension and anxiety. The herb's flower-carrying shoots are dried and used for treatment.

Good combination = Better treatment
Natural substances play an important role especially in the treatment of mental state disturbances, despondency, depression and anxiety.

Many people who are experiencing emotional distress find themselves in a vicious circle: they are stressed, suffer from nervous unrest and exhaustion, and hardly sleep at night because of inner tension. The next day they feel "knocked out" and emotionally crushed. Anxiety about failing and lack of self-confidence weigh heavily on their mood. Good herbal preparations, like NEURAPAS Balance with its constituents of St. John's Wort, Valerian, and Passionflower, is especially important to help break free from the spiral of Burnout Syndrome. The combination of these three plants brings you into balance, strengthens self-confidence, and provides for inner equilibrium.
