Updated May. 09th, 2024
The only thing better than enjoying a smoothie in the morning is waking up knowing that there’s only one simple step between you and it. Thankfully, while you were catching some much needed zzz’s, your nutrient packed smoothie was being prepared for you. That means the only thing left for you to do to have a breakfast that will keep you full until lunch, is for you to pop it in the blender and go!
- Gluten Free
- Dairy Free
- Egg Free
Ingredients:
| 1 ½ cups non-dairy milk | 1 tablespoon almond butter | zest from 1 small lemon |
| ½ cup raspberries | 1 tablespoon chia seeds | pinch white stevia powder |
| 2 tablespoon uncontaminated rolled oats | 1 ½ teaspoon poppy seeds | |
| 1 tablespoon lemon juice | 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract |
Directions
- Grab a glass container with a sealed lid, such as a large mason jar.
- Measure out and mix all ingredients into your glass jar. Seal tight and shake until everything is mixed thoroughly.
- Place jar in the fridge overnight to set.
- When you’re ready for your smoothie, place the contents of the jar into a blender and blend until smooth! Enjoy right away.
Make It This Way
Swap out the sugar: try substituting stevia for coconut palm sugar or agave syrup instead.
If you don’t have almond butter or you’re simply not a fan, try using another nut butter in place, such as sunflower seed butter.
Try This
If you don’t have time to toss it in the blender, just take the jar with you and eat it with a spoon! It will just have more of an oatmeal type consistency, but will still provide you with the same health benefits.

This recipe from the raspberry should have a delightful and sweet tartness (awesome pairing this with vanilla & stevia!) as well as a wonderful, romantic color. I would love to add white chocolate as that sounds like a decandant flavor profile for a healthy and nourishing smoothie. This recipe feels very Valentine's to me...or rather Valentine's! I think I will be wanting to treat myself to this one, NN: it's simple and self care in quite a few ways :)
